Nano Brows – Microblading

Fuller, Thicker, Bolder Brows

Nano brows (also known as nanoneedle or micropigmentation) is a permanent makeup technique that involves using a hand-held machine to create hair-like eyebrow strokes. Many of my clients often refer to my nano brow services as microblading, but it’s actually an entirely unique technique from microblading. The tool used for nano brows utilizes digital technology to allow for more precise depth of pigment placement and more natural-looking brow strokes. Nano brows technology is less traumatic for the skin compared to microblading. It is currently the safest and most effective technique for permanent brow makeup.

My Brow Services

Nano Brow Hair Stroke

Nano brow is a process that involves using a tiny, fine-point needle to deposit pigment under your skin. The result? Realistic-looking brow hairs that don’t wash off. Nano brows are a semi- permanent tattoo that will last roughly one to two years depending on skin type. This service is great for people with normal to dry skin, brow hair loss, fading arches, or anyone wanting thicker, fuller brows with less maintenance. Nano brows are best for people who really love more natural-looking brows. Makeup can still be added for more density.

Nano Brow Hair Stroke & Powder Combo

Combo brows is a process combining both nano brows and shading. This technique gives the natural look of hair strokes boosted with a powdery center fill. This combination usually lasts a little longer than nano brows alone, and is great for people who really love a precise, fuller brow with less color maintenance.

Nano Brow Soft Powder

Powder Brow is a process using tiny pin-point needs to deposit pigment into your skin. This technique creates a powder-like finish under the brow hair. The brow has an ombre’ appearance going from a defined tail to a lightened, pixelated front. This service is great for people with oily and normal skin, fading tails, and anyone looking for a more precise, finished brow look.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Long Do Nano Brows & Powder Brows Results Last?

Nano brows and powder brows are semi-permanent treatments. The pigment will last for about 1-2 years, but it could last longer depending on several factors (skin type, age, sun exposure, skin products used, pigment color used, etc.). I typically recommend a refresh every 12-15 months to properly maintain shape, detail, and color.

I recommend avoiding exercise or strenuous physical activity for at least seven days after your nano brow or powder brow treatment. This will reduce sweating in that area and give your brows the proper time they need to heal.

I can help you obtain the shape and style that best suits your face. However, if there are brow shapes and colors you have in mind, compiling a few reference photos for our professionals is a good idea. Filling in your eyebrows as you normally would will also help our technicians get a good feel for your style. If you use Retinol, you should stop using the product at least two weeks before your appointment. You should also limit sun exposure before your appointment. You don’t want to come to the appointment with a sunburn, because the skin will then already be irritated.

You’ll want to keep the treated area clean for the first week by rinsing the area with lukewarm water, padding with a dry disposable paper towel, and applying a thin layer of aftercare ointment three times a day. The second week after your appointment, you can drop down to rinsing two times a day. You’ll also no longer have to apply the ointment in the second week. You can shower and bathe as you normally would, but avoid using soap or cleaners on the treated area. You’ll also want to avoid direct sun exposure and makeup application in the treated area for the first two weeks.
